I just "celebrated" my 13 years of taking Tramadol and Lortab. It all started with a prescription for Lortab that my doctor prescribed. I did not know that I can become addicted so fast. I have tried to stop this, but I simply can't. During the withdrawal period, I get sweat, flu-like symptoms, I can't sleep, I can't talk, I hate it when someone asks me a question or tries to talk top me, I lost a lot of weight and have become a walking skeleton, I get a horrible dhiarrhea every withdrawal day, I feel absolutely depressed, I can't do any work, and I can't concentrate. This is just a small list! I used to be in top shape mentally and physically. Now I can't even spell words (I had to use a dictionary to spell a few words in this message I am writing) a my life (if I have one) has become worthless to me because I can't do the things that I used to enjoy. Heck, I even have problems sleeping with my wife!!! If hell is something like this, God help us all! This is the worst thing that can happen to a person. Unfortunately, I can't find any solution to this problem. I have reached a point where death is becoming a welcome solution! Of course, I cannot afford to go to a detox institution. I lost all hope and I feel lonely and depressed all the time. I don't know what to do to end this hell!!?? Can someone please help me?

Hey,
Don't beat yourself up. This too shall pass. I know you feel awful and sick and desperate but these feeling are temporary, death is not. Do you have a counselor or a therapist you can talk to? You definitly should look into that. Also, check out the Waismann Method, they can put this all behind you in a matter of days.... Hang in there...
